Blog - ICS kicked off FY18 H2 with Innovation Integration
ICS kicked off the second half of 2018 with a mid-year booster aptly called Innovation Integration. This event was held at the Citadines Millennium Ortigas last July 20th, 2018.
System Administrator
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configuring and maintaining the networked computer system, including hardware,
system software, and applications. - Ensuring data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when
they arise. - Replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary.
- Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
- Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the networked
computer system. - Providing technical support when requested.
- Documenting any processes which clients need to follow in order to successfully work
within their computing system.
REQUIREMENTS
- An Associate or Bachelor’s degree graduate of Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, Information Technology or any related course - With 7-10 years of related experience; preferably with at least 2 years of Supervisory
or Managerial position - Certification in Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), CompTIA Server+, Red
Hat Certified System Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer or VMWare Certified
Professional is an advantage - Experience administering server-side technology and networked computing systems.
- Familiarity with SQL and database operations.
- Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines.
- Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Patient and professional demeanor, with a can-do attitude.
